Schwartz Center Receives $500,000 Grant from the Amgen Foundation
Funds Support Expanded Efforts to Make Compassionate, Patient-Centered Care a National Healthcare Priority
BOSTON and THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., March 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare, a Boston-based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the relationship between patients and their healthcare providers, today announced it has received a $500,000 grant from the Amgen Foundation. Amgen and Micromet Announce Early Termination of HSR Waiting Period for Amgen's Acquisition of Micromet
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., Feb. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN) and Micromet, Inc. (NASDAQ: MITI) today announced that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvement Act of 1976, as amended (HSR), in connection with Amgen’s tender offer for Micromet, was terminated early on Feb. 14, 2012 by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. The waiting period was scheduled to expire on Feb. 17, 2012.

Amgen Names Michael Severino, M.D., Senior Vice President, Global Development and Corporate Chief Medical Officer
